Isn’t it exciting to be hearing of all these new places opening up in Amman? Well this time it’s not only hearing but also witnessing the process of the opening! This happened at the Four Seasons Hotel. A new French brasserie called “La Capitale” will be running this fall with a totally new exquisite expe-gh-ience (twist your tongue for some French accent)
Upon entering the lobby, and apart from spotting the marvellous floral decoration, notice the three teasers on your upper left; indicating where the brasserie will be located.
Being escorted to the cocktail reception by the swimming pool, we were greeted with two sorts of drinks: Cardamom and Thyme.
The event began with a small speech by AvroKO, the firm behind the design of the brasserie, Chef Arthur, the genius behind all of this deliciousness, and Four Season’s manager in Amman.
Then food started pouring! I added some of the heavenly tasted plates that we got: Oysters, Foie Gras Torchon, Burrata with Piperade and Pommes Purée.

Next, we were escorted to the construction site (with hard hats) of the Brasserie, and I must say I can hardly wait for it to be done.
At the construction site, desserts were served, constituting of Pain Perdu dipped in heavenly chocolate sauce.

As the event came to an end, we find these gorgeously wrapped giveaways awaiting for us.
I would like to thank everyone who participated in organising this outstanding event.
Stay tuned for the opening date!
